Finally an overall fitness testing system that anyone can do. Want to know what your real fitness level is? Ever wonder how you compare against others that train with you? Want to seriously chart your progress and monitor improved performance every 3 months? Our new trufit testing will give you a fitness/performance number that will tell you how fit you are compared to others, and will also allow you to continually track your fitness level as you train! The higher the number, the more fit you are! This number will take into effect your age, gender and body fat %. With this, you will then perform a series of 7 tests. Each test will give you a number to either add or subtract from your total score.
The cost is $30 and you will schedule individually with a trainer for one of the days listed above. For this you’ll receive a trufit shirt as well as your trufit number & be personally tested/scored by one of our trainers!
How do we get your trufit number?
Age: per year over 29 you receive 1 point.
Body Fat: If you are under your ideal body fat (based on your age and gender) you will get points. If you are over your ideal body fat you will subtract points
Push ups: Max push ups (off knees) in 1 minute (men 1pt/rep women 3pts/rep)
Pull ups: Guys on a bar, Gals on the highest GTS – 1.5pt / rep
Tire/sled pull: Guys pulling tire outside, Gals pulling sled inside (sled is 233lbs) 1/2 pt per foot pulled
Tire flip: Guys & Gals 2 points per completed tire flip in 1 minute (guys tire and gals tire)
Box jumps: 12″ box for females, 18″ box for males. Max box jumps in 1 minute (1 point per completed jump – feet must land together)
120 second rowing machine: guys 2pts per calorie, gals 3pts per calorie (2 mins time)
3 hill runs: 3 times up to the stop sign and down. This will be timed. For every 10 seconds it takes you, subtract 3 points from your score (example, 4 minutes would subtract 72 points)
