“I was asked to put together a few sentences on my experience with P4L & VBL. I found it a difficult task because to understand P4L I believe you have to experience it. Words are not adequate. Yes it is a physical fitness facility and an excellent one at that. There are at least 8 fitness facilities closer to my house and more convenient. I have been to many of them. P4lL’s high intensity, interval, full body conditioning approach with a sports/team slant is unique and for me provides superior mental and physical results. I lost over 60 lbs and I am stronger and healthier than I have been since I was a teenager. My blood pressure is lower and my resting heart rate dropped 20 beats per minute.
But the physical is only the proverbial “Tip of the iceberg”. My overall P4L / VBL experience can only be described as feeling part of a family. From my first day I felt like I was being welcomed home after a long absence. Motherly nurturing from Wendy. Fatherly advice from Dave. Big brother inspiration from Josh. Motivation and caring from Chris, Angela, Aaron, Tiffany, and the rest of the family.
I don’t use the family analogy lightly. Establishing and retaining this environment day in and day out does not just happen. It is no accident and I know this. It takes a conscious effort and I can not express how grateful I am to P4L for putting forth that effort for me and my P4L member siblings day after day.”
